THOMAS B. BENDER
Mr. Bender joined Seizert Capital Partners, L.L.C. as a partner in October 2001. He serves as a portfolio manager for private management clients and the manager of the Glen Arbor, MI office.

After a successful career of 32 years in investment banking, institutional sales and investment consulting, Mr. Bender took early retirement. He and his wife Joanne moved to scenic Leelenau County in northwestern Michigan. There, in 1991, he joined the Financial & Investment Management Group, serving the needs of private investment management clients. In December 1999, Mr. Bender merged his management practice with Disciplined Growth Investors, a Minneapolis based investment management firm. There he served as Director of Private Management and manager of the Glen Arbor office.

Mr. Bender is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BBA and an MBA in Finance. He served in the United States Air Force as an officer and pilot in the Strategic Air Command. He served as a director of The Munder Funds for six years, resigning that position to accept his new responsibilities at Seizert Capital Partners. He is also a past president of Orchard Lake Country Club. He currently serves as a director of the International Affairs Forum in Traverse City. He is a member of the Financial Analyst Society of Detroit and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
