EDWARD O. EBERLE, CFA
Mr. Eberle joined Gerry Seizert and Chuck Schmidt to form Seizert Capital Partners
L.L.C. in December 2000 and was named President in December 2001. He coordinates
the firm’s investment process, co-manages the firm’s investment disciplines
and manages the hedge fund Prosper Associates, L.L.C., a fund he established in
1999. Mr. Eberle serves as a portfolio manager to institutional and high net worth
clients.
Prior to joining Seizert Capital Partners, Mr. Eberle was Executive Vice President
of Alternative Investments and portfolio manager for Valenti Capital, L.L.C. He
was also President of Valenti Advisors, the manager of the Valenti Equinox Fund,
L.L.C. where he served as a portfolio manager of the hedge fund. From 1995 through
1999, Mr. Eberle was at Munder Capital Management and held a variety of positions
including co-manager of the Munder Value Fund and of the Munder Small-Cap Value
Fund. In addition, as Senior Portfolio Manager-Value Team, he was responsible
for portfolio management, security selection, marketing and client servicing for
private client and institutional accounts. He also served as a member of the Equity
Selection Team that managed the Munder Micro Cap Fund and co-developed the firm’s
asset allocation discipline. From 1990 through 1995, Mr. Eberle was employed by
Dart Energy Corporation and Westpointe Financial Corp., which managed
domestic and international equities and fixed income securities. In addition, he co-managed a global hedge fund that
invested in both onshore and offshore securities and developed various long and
short strategies on both equity and debt instruments. Mr. Eberle served on the Board of
Directors of Dart Investors-Bermuda, an offshore investment entity, Westpointe Capital Management, an advisor to hedge funds,
and Business Value Partners Limited, an offshore investment company.
Mr. Eberle is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is a graduate of Michigan State
University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance. He is a member of the Financial
Analyst Society of Detroit. He is also on the Board of Directors of Dart Energy Corporation.
