GERALD L. SEIZERT, CFA, CIC
Mr. Seizert has been the Chief Executive Officer of Seizert Capital Partners,
L.L.C., since forming the company in 2000 with Ed Eberle and Chuck Schmidt. He
directs the equity disciplines of the firm and serves as portfolio manager to
select client relationships.
From April 1995 to December 1999, Mr. Seizert served Munder Capital Management,
L.L.C. as a Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer - Equities. During that
period, the capabilities of the firm were expanded to include value disciplines
and mutual funds, life cycle balanced funds, the Munder NetNet Fund, and the Munder
Micro-Cap Fund. Mr. Seizert also coordinated efforts with Framlington International,
the firm’s foreign affiliate. From January 1998 to July 1999, Mr. Seizert
was also the Co-Chief Executive Officer of Munder Capital Management. From December
1984 to April 1995, Mr. Seizert was employed by Loomis, Sayles & Co., L.P.
He joined the firm as a Vice President and portfolio manager. In that capacity,
he developed the quantitative methods and value discipline employed by the Detroit
Office. From January 1991 to April 1995, he was the Managing Partner of the Detroit
Office, a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, and served on the firm’s
Investment Policy Committee. Prior to 1984, Mr. Seizert was employed by First
of America Bank, where he was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager. Prior to coming to Michigan in 1978, Mr. Seizert
was with BancOne where he worked for the holding company in a strategic planning
capacity. Prior to BankOne, Mr.
Seizert was employed by Austin Financial Advisors, a firm specializing in consulting
to banks and bank holding companies.
Mr. Seizert is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Investment Counselor.
He is a graduate of The University of Toledo with a Masters and Bachelors degrees
in Business Administration majoring in Finance. Mr. Seizert serves other local institutional
and charitable organizations. He is a member of the Financial Analyst Society
of Detroit. He is a director of the Advent/Claymore Funds, where he serves as the Chairman of the Audit Committee.
