Seizert Capital Partners Announces Additional Appointments: Adds New Portfolio Manager, Chief Compliance Officer.
SEATTLE/DENVER, (May 31, 2011) – Seizert Capital Partners ("Seizert"), a leading asset management firm serving both institutional and individual investors, announced today that it has continued to strengthen its management through the addition of two new executives and the appointment of two current team members to new roles.
Thomas P. Kenny, CFA, was named Portfolio Manager and will helpoversee the firm’s family of investment products. Prior to joining Seizert, he served as Co-Manager of several Munder Capital Management strategies. He began his career as a senior trust analyst with Manufacturers Bank. Kenny is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds a Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude) from the University of Detroit and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit-Mercy. He is a member of the CFA Society of Detroit.
Cheryl A. Kotlarz was named Chief Compliance Officer at Seizert. Kotlarz joined Seizert from Sigma Investment Counselors, where she served as Chief Compliance Officer and Fixed Income Manager. She began her career with Acorn Asset Management as a Portfolio Administrator and Trader. Kotlarz earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Oakland University and is a member of the CFA Society of Detroit, and the National Society of Compliance Professionals.
In addition to the two new team members, Seizert announced the following appointments:
- Greg Kozlowski, formerly Chief Compliance Officer, was named Chief Operating Officer (COO).
- Charles "Chuck" Schmidt, previously COO, was named Chief Financial Officer in addition to his portfolio management responsibilities.
